DANILO “Dani” SIBAYAN


Born in 1953.  PWU Fine Arts.  Awards include the Kenneth Clark Art competitions ;  AAP Annual Competition,  PWU Recognition Award, Shell Art Competition, Nayong Pilipino and PNB Nationwide Art Tilts. Shows and exhibits include:  Maharlika Gallery in Australia, Aga Khan Museum, Beach Tower, Guam,  Metrobank, CCP, Hidalgo, Sining Kamalig, and Silahis Hotel galleries. Works included in exhibitions of Philippine art in Washington, DC in 1990 and the AAP “60 Years of Winning” art exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum.Sibayan paintings are among those in the art collections of the Central Bank of the Philippines, PCIB, Shell, Caltex, Philippine Congress, and the Shangrila Hotel. Noted for his “Doves of Peace” series and abstracts depicting celestial forms and phenomena.  Uses oil, acrylic and watercolor.
