ROBERT "Robie" N. Nubla
Born August 15, 1955 in Tondo.  A self-taught artist, he had no formal art training but was exposed to painting while working as an apprentice in a few art studios.  Exhibited his works at the Gallery Genesis, Heritage, Hidalgo, Alegria and Pines Hotel in Baguio.
The subjects of Nubla's paintings are visual accounts of scenes where he has lived in a peripatetic sort of a lifestyle:  Tondo, Iloilo, Parañaque, Bacolod and Manila.  His works often featured boat rides, farmers at work, rice fields, nipa huts, nature scenes,  children and women.  Among the exhibits and contests he participated in were:  Kulay Tubig, Artists for Peace, Tribute to Drawings, etc.  He is at ease with oil and watercolor.
