JOSE “OYING” MADRILEJOS


Self-taught artist. Only one semester of formal art training at P. W. U.  Dazzling acrylics characterized his works.  Exhibited in the U.S. at the  Glendale National Library, L.A., San Diego Art Festival in California and the Sterling Mall in Guam, U.S.A.  Among his many Philippine exhibits were those at the Concurso Expocision para Pintores Filipinos,  Spanish Embassy, National Museum Arte Etnika, Manila Hotel Painters Club, AAP Painting Competition and the Cultural Center of the Philippines Art competition. His paintings are found in the collections of MetroBank, Senator Edgardo Angara, the Makati Stock Exchange and other art connoiseurs.   Awardee of the  Philip Morris art and Bamboo Organ painting competitions.
